Bill Thomas

Construction, infrastructure and engineering projects have a propensity to generate disputes.  When they occur, they are usually destructive, embarrassing and expensive.

Bill specialises in preventing them.

When they arise, he specialises in resolving them – through a tailored combination of negotiation, mediation, litigation and engineering insight.

Bill’s thirty-five years experience is balanced between law, business, engineering, transport, and education – and includes fifteen years in executive management and governance.  He brings to the Private Bar experience in identifying and delivering pragmatic solutions that comprehend legal and commercial realities.

In addition to being a barrister, Bill is a registered professional engineer with the practical experience that comes from negotiating and delivering $3B+ of projects.
